Last Days: Round 3
(Sorry I am extremely late but if it helps I did write most of this a week or so ago...) Todays Last Day is all about Biology! Which to be honest is not my favourite subject, although when I picked it and the few months after we started it was one of my favourite subjects, or the best from what we were offered. I still like the human side of biology and I think its really interesting but learning about the biosphere and plants and sampling techniques just bore me! And dont get me started on graphs, in any subject!! They are just pointless! Well not really they are probably useful, but after two years of drawing them I am sick of ALL graphs!
Any way im going to stop complaining there. Yes right there, at that dot. Or maybe this dot. Or this one. The choice is yours!
So I tried to find some bio related pictures and these are the best I could find although they were not intentionally taken for this but oh well...
So this one could be considered The Biosphere or a Habitat, although I actually just took it because I thought it was cool when I found it on an adventure ( a walk with the dogs that was very very muddy with no paths) I would like to point out no fairies were harmed in the capturing of this photograph and their homes are still intact.
This is although it looks like cake, an enjoyable substance (in business we would call it a want) it is actually a vital source of energy in which without ( the energy not the cake) we would not survive, so what I am saying I cake is good for you.
So that is biology and I'm not going to bore you with how the exam went also because I cant remember as after each exam no matter how brilliant or terrible it went I have a mental block on everything to do with it! Sorry this was so late, the next one will be very very soon!

Last Days: Round 2
So yesterdays Last day; Round 2 was maths ( DUN DUN DUUUUN!!) Yes I have officially finished my mathematical education, and it feels good!! I'll take you through how I felt on the day, I started off really quite nervous and felt a bit sick but that didn't make me want to do any last minute (previous 24 hours) revising, no no no! Then I started my first paper- I don't know what its like any where else but in Scotland you sit two out of the three possible levels (Foundation, General or Credit) and you do a calculator and a non calculator in both papers. So I sat General non calculator first and actually that was fine, generally I find the non calculator easy, well easier anyway. then the calculator General and I was stating to feel a bit better as it wasn't too hard either. After that luckily there is a break between papers. Then I started the credit non calculator, it also wasn't to bad, then the calculator and this is pretty much how I felt.
But they add all your scores together so hopefully that might bump my score up a bit, if not oh well. In my view I don't need credit math I will never use the sin rule or the value of x when x squared - 6x + 5= 0 or how to do standard deviation. No I have a tape measure, a calculator and a massive right angle that makes sure my fabric is straight and that will do me!
Now I have a week and a bit break before any more exams, so I am off to see my Granny to surprise her for her Birthday on Monday. I am making her up a crochet kit for her present and baking her a cake. I will leave you with this cute picture, It just makes me smile!

Last Day: Round 1
Hello People! Sorry it has been so long (first time this year I believe, Oops!) But I have been preparing... For what I hear you cry... Or not! Anyway the hint is in the title!
So on Monday I had my first, a proper exam that will actually count for something! Well untill I am 25 and the results dont count/ run out and thats presuming I pass.
*Ahh dont think that!*
Right back to present day, yes! So on Monday I sat my english exam, which (Oscar speach drum roll please) if I pass would l like to thank my sister for inspiring my brain, and if I fail I will blame for not being interesting enough! Either way your welcome!
Back to my Last Day:Round 1. Today is the last day I am doing any Chemistry, EVER! Well knowingly anyway, so I will still be doing cooking and washing and eating with enzymes and dying things and stuff like that but no school chemistry, NO NO NO! Also yesterday I had my last ever chemistry lesson.... And she stayed late! Maybe she will miss me as I am an ''agngel'' ... (according to english the " " doesnt always quote but also can change the meaning of whats inside it, I am doing the second...) Although she is still my tutor untill the 27th of may. Its strange to think I wont have her again but I am so glad to be finishing with these subjects!!
And that is me for today I will fill you in on Last Days: Round 2 either tomorrow or Friday! Have a lovely day! And sorry no pictures today! See you soon, I promise this time I actually will!

Happy New Year
Happy New Year! Sorry for my late start to the blogging year! I'v been so busy, but that is no excuse! I started making a blog about cookies I made but I only got a few lines in before I got disrupted and then that story was ruined for ever.. OK that was a bit dramatic, but you get what I mean.
Today it snowed and yesterday it snowed, it also snowed earlier last week but that was just a dusting. On the news it seems like the world is ending when it snows in England but it's nothing compared to what its like in Scotland. And I am not just being biased, I used to live in Southampton for years and it snowed once for the whole time we were there! One year we came up to Scotland for Christmas and it snowed so much I couldn't stand up in the snow, but to be fair I was only three or four, not the point. Although I suppose the snow in Scotland is nothing compared to other countries.
OK moving on. On Friday me and my two best mates and I had a movie night which normally involves a film with at least one attractive person, pizza, ice cream and fits of giggles. Oh and a lot of fun!
This is Miss A. With Monsieur Moustache I made her for Christmas. She's a bit crazy. She is also the oldest and the day of her birthday matches her house number, cool I hear you say! Yes she is!
This is Miss E. You may have read her blog (Wise Words From Edna) She is also crazy, but this seems to be a thing with me and my friends. She is the middle aged one, as in her birthdays in the middle of mine and Miss A's not that she is middle aged but she will be one day!
Together our first name initials spell ACE obviously because thats what we are. Another fun fact is that their real names are longer versions of my sisters names, however I couldn't say who I prefer, I love them all equally!
When we were at Miss A's I thought I would show them how to light paint, although it wasn't planned so we had to do it in the kitchen instead of out side. If it was planned I would have taken my tripod, instead we put it on a box on the kitchen worktop. It worked just as well, here is our evidence
Pretty awesome if I may say so myself! If your lucky I may teach you myself one day! I hope you have a lovely week, Speak to you soon xx
Tuesday, 25 December 2012
First of all... MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! I hope your day is brilliant where ever you are!! Iv been really busy in the last week and our schools did not finished until the Friday 21st and we only have two weeks off to celebrate Christmas and New Year. I do not think this is fair when we have such long summer holidays, although I would complain about school in most situations anyway. But its Christmas so YAY!!
Last year we put the tree up on Christmas eve... Oops! This year though we put it up about a week before, which I think is the right time to put it up. We have had the same tree for at least 17 years if not more. Here are our Christmas tree decorating stages
Step 1. Unravel the tree. I was helping but that's my mum doing the back while I took a picture!
Step 2. Put all the layers of the Christmas tree together (and attach any missing bits) She does look a tad bare but shes part of the family and shes not going anywhere.
Step 3. Is putting the lights on but sometimes step 3 is bombarding her in tinsel to cover up her bald patches, but this year tinsel was step 4. but I forgot to take a picture of her with just tinsel, sorry!
Step 4 & 5. Add tinsel and hang as many decorations as possible on her without her looking tacky! But we have some really nice little hanging things so she will never look tacky!
Step 6. Put the fairy/angel on top... there is also not a picture with our Angel Gabriel (who until a few years ago I thought was a woman!) And thats it! Merry Christmas Have a lovely day ansd I hope Santa has been good to every one!

MMMMM, right?? And I will leave you with these yummy pictures and dreams of crafty things and if you are like me then you will be happy with that! Good night or day depending on where you are. xx

MERLIN
IM FREEEEEEEE!!! Yesterday I finished my prelims, it was such a relief. Although now I have my actual exams to look positively forward to... Or dreading, but that's a whole six months till then, so I will be fine, YES FINE!! But now its back to normal work, ughh.
Now for the shocking (SHOCKING!!) news: MERLIN IS ENDING, ENDING FOREVER!!!!!! This is horrendous. We used to watch Robin Hood and really enjoyed that, we like period dramas, but they cut that too. It also had a lot of viewers still watching at the end and I am sure there could have been quite a few more story lines, although they had killed off Marion a couple of series ago and I don't remember Marion being killed in the book. But still it could have gone on longer but no. And now Merlin. BBC what are you doing?? Where am I going to get my Colin Morgan, Bradley James, Angel Coulby, Katie McGrath and Richard Wilson fix?? Huh, See what you have done?!? Although I do know I could buy the box set, but that's besides the point.
Where am I going to see these beautiful faces together again (apart from if they make a movie or I buy the box set or I get a poster or any way using the internet... Still not the point.) And to the saddest point of all, its ending what made me realise want I want to do with my future. However that has not made me change my mind, I still want to make costumes. And I really wanted to be part of this crew but I knew it probably wouldn't last another five years or more on top of the current five years it has all been running just to wait for me. But hopefully by then something just as good will come along (never better though) and they will need costumes made and I will come along and say " Hey I can make costumes!" and they will say "When can you start??" Well thats my dream so far, and if any of the current merlin cast are in it then that would be a massive plus side!!
The other Tv dramas that the costumes look really good in are A Game of Thrones, which I really like, although my parents think have a few too many "adult" scenes, which they are glad the tv controller has a fast forward button. I think this is really funny as they are the adults.
There are two more I like watching for costumes mainly but stories too, no actually three, are Downton Abbey, The Paradise and Larkrise to Candleford. I will do my next blog on them and why I like them.
See you Soon xx
